Spectral imaging using a commercial color - filter array digital camera
A multi-year research program is underway to develop and deliver spectral-based digital cameras for imaging cultural heritage at the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC and the Museum of Modern Art, New York. The cameras will be used for documentation, production imaging, and conservation science. Three approaches have undergone testing: a liquid-crystal tunable filter (LCTF) coupled with a ...

متن کاملMulti-spectral skin imaging by a consumer photo-camera
The possibilities to perform multi-band spectral imaging by means of a consumer color camera without external filters have been studied. Images at up to 6 spectral bands may be extracted from a single color image after appropriate signal processing. The proposed technique was tested in pilot measurements of in-vivo skin hemoglobin maps and laser-excited autofluorescence images.
متن کاملLag camera: A moving multi-camera array for scene acquisition
Many applications, such as telepresence, virtual reality, and interactive walkthroughs, require a threedimensional (3D) model of real-world environments. Methods, such as lightfields, geometric reconstruction and computer vision use cameras to acquire visual samples of the environment and construct a model. Unfortunately, obtaining models of real-world locations is a challenging task. In partic...
متن کاملSuper-resolution imaging using a camera array.
The angular resolution of many commercial imaging systems is limited, not by diffraction or optical aberrations, but by pixilation effects. Multiaperture imaging has previously demonstrated the potential for super-resolution (SR) imaging using a lenslet array and single detector array. We describe the practical demonstration of SR imaging using an array of 25 independent commercial-off-the-shel...
